Default check valves

Okay guys, I'm about ready to take care of the map sensor now. What exactly do I need in order to set up this check valve system? I know that I should run like 3 or 4. I'll be running around 7 to 8 psi intercooled and I have an obd1 system and the map sensor is mounted on the firewall. I need to keep costs low so that's why i've opted to use the check valves instead of the missing link. anyway, I read before that 00G had configured a way to use one check valve that would act like a missing link. Any further elaboration on this would be great...also any other hints as to how to tackle the map sensor would be awsome!! thanks
