Default Check this out...

Suddenly my car is making "pinging" noises. Its a 95 ls teg (everything stock), It has not being drive hard or anything like that. It sounds like when you use cheap gasoline. First I thought that was the problem, but after switching from 3 diff brands (high octane of course) I have discarded that option.
I'm asking here bec I have a turbo kit ready to be fix in the car, and this is stoping me from starting.
What could be the problem?

No, no... The car is completely stock, that's why I'm worried. The turbo kit is still not in the car. I have to fix this problem to then start working on making it turbo.

No oil leaks or smoke at the muffler. Also it runs great.
It is consuming a little bit of oil dough.

or you could be getting blow by from the breather system and it's throwing oil back in the cylinders

Not sure how to test the breather but you should take a look at your plugs that might tell you something about whats happening in your engine.

take the breather that connects from the head to the intake and see if it's oil in it.

Check your timing maybe? Your timing could be advanced too far causing the motor to ping even with premium gas. Just a thought.

Thanks!
I'm going to check the breather tomorrow first thing in the morning. What should I look for in the plugs? Timing is supossed to be the same from factory but will check it anyways.

http://www.theultralightplace.com/sparkplugs.htm

That shows many spark plug conditions, try and match it up. That page says its for Rotax engines but those pictures are accurate for Hondas as well.
