ok i have a b16a3 with drag 3 turbo kit. runnning vafc tuned at 6 psi. everything was fine until i had to pass emissions. so i had to go get a cat put on, it was straight pipe b4. well after i got the cat put on my check engine light comes on. ne one have ne suggestions?

well they are gonna want to know what code you are throwing for them to help u

 

how do i find that out?

 

You need to hook a code reader up to your ECU. Are you running any kind of engine management, because you may be able to get the code that way.

Does your cat have an O2 sensor bung in it?

 

yes the o2 sensor has a bung(if by bung u mean the o2 sensor is screwed in) in it. and i am running vafc.

Bummer. I don't think the vafc has any code-reading capabilities. My guess is that your new cat doesn't do as good of a job as your old one, and the O2 sensor is picking that up...but that's just a guess.

You need someone to grab the code for you so you can tell exactly why that CEL is on.
