check endine light.. need help

Default check endine light.. need help

i have a D16y8 boosted vafc 2 walbro 255 dsm injectors 450cc aem pressure regulator. i keep geting a check light and cant get it to stop, its
p1106 malfunction. air fuel metering.. how do i get it stop?

to which? vafc , injectors, if it wasnt for obd2 id just take the stupid light bulb out haha

Jump the service check connector and post up what 'blink' code you get.

Not knowing what P1106 is, I'd put a $1 on it being Code 1 or 43.

So what's the code?

Code 45 maybe? System too lean/too rich. If so, I get that code using the same setup only a VAFC 1. A lot of people get it and its just somthing you have to live with running that setup. Just check the code every now and then to make sure it isn't anything new.

Well, that is more than likely the VAFC's fault. The MAP and Baro sensor are basically one in the same and so when you intially start you car, they should be spitting out near the same voltage.

But now you've got a VAFC altering the MAP output by what...35-40%.

You don't really have a problem.

Is that the same as code 13? If so, another problem due to the hack, but no big deal. Pretty much same as the other one.
