Default check engine light with push on gas

my car is running like **** the check engine light comes on when i push on the gas, so i cant really check the code, any tips or help would be very appreciateed

you can check the stored code even if the mil isnt still on.

If your ecu isnt storing codes then you have more problems. like blown fuse or wireing.

HA! You can check the code.

When you jump the ecm - it replys with any code that its had since its been reset i think. It will show. Trust. Just turn the ignition to the on posistion and jump it. Read the code and report back.

It'll probably be a code for the fuel system.....maybe.

checked code got 4 which is crank sensor and got 8 which is top dead center anybody have any ideas on these. and i have a brand new distributor by the way but need advice please

check your tire pressure, i had the same prob untill i pumped it to 35psi andshe started right up with cels

both of those sensors are inside the distributor, make sure you bought the right one, and that the connector is on it snugly
