Default Charge piping and BOV quick question

I have the chargepiping that comes with the greddy kit. On the parts list it says that it is steel but it feels like aluminum. does anyone know what it is for sure? I have an XS RFL bov and the adapter is mild steel. I pretty much know nothing about welding, so can that be welded to aluminum?
