Changing from synthetic to regular = check engine light???
What code is it,I just did the same thing (knocks on wood)

Check to make sure the oil is still there.
Could have not tightened the oil pan bolt enough.
Maybe the old oil filter's o-ring is stuck to the block.

thats what i initially thought. but it was still there. no leaks at all, nothing on the ground.

check the code. once you know that, you will no the problem.

when you did the oil change did they get oil on the 02 sensor?
I have seen number of times people get oil on the 02 sensor and then use brake cleaner to clean up the oil the check on will go on with an 02 voltage to high/low code
just check it/clear it/wait
to see if the code comes back up

i have the same cel. It shouldn't effect how ur car runs. Its a pretty common cel, so it might not be b/c of the oil change. btw..why did u change back from syn to regular oil? Once u go with syn ur not suppose to go back to regular
