REALLY needed--nah if so then they would come with turbo kits, right?
Is it a good thing to have? I would say yes. One will find its way under my hood one of these days...

Meaning your catch can picked up some serious debris at some time or another?

Yeah, apparently. It sounded like rocks and dirt.

Well I have one in my car too right now...Im asking because I was talking to a guy about re-building turbos and he said somethings that cause turbos to get ruined, backed up, leaked etc etc....and of course one of them is poor ventilation. So im wondering how good my set up does and maybe from the previous owner it had done enough wear to cause a leak??? Who knows. But just wondering.

i got one on my car. Greddy oil cathc can. if you do plan on one get it from LArry or bryce at Alamoautosports. I payed 75.00 from them, everywhere else seemed to sell them for around 100.00. They must have been in a good mood or something but its worth a try

Alamo Autosports Arlington TX 817-860 4300

unless you find it somewhere else at a better or same deal.

I see oil in my intake manifold when I take it off now and then, I'd gladly pay $100 to make that not happen. I dont know if it would 'catch' all of it, but next time I take it out I'll install one.

Well another positive aspect of the catch can is that it eliminates the oil being burned in the combustion chamber. In doing this your octane rating of the gasoline is truely what it is supposed to be. Oil when mixed with gasoline lowers the effective octane rating of the gasoline. Just something to think about.
