Default CAR STRIPPED =( Need ideas..

Hey guys, my hybrid hatchback was stolen about 2 weeks ago, well yesterday I got it back. It's not in good shape at all....they took the head off of my B18C1, stole the ECU, cut up the wiring harness pretty bad, took my tach, exhaust, rims, half of my interior pieces, clear corners, side mirrors, even my freakin' windshield squirters!! What's up with that? They also tried to steal my rear hatch but couldn't get it off so it's bent. But anyways...I'm thinking that it'd be better to sell the remainder of my hatchback to someone who wants to make a race car. So I'm left with a GSR transmission, and a GSR block. I was thinking about keeping the Transmission, selling the block, buying a B18B1 block and ECU then building the block for my turbo. Or should I keep the GSR block and find a Vtec head for it then turbo it? Suggestions would be greatly appreciated! Thanks!

you could always do the b18c block with the b16a head.... i think its referred to as the poor mans type r....
but who knows what the theifs did to that block.... if it were me id start from scratch.... man im sorry to hear about that...
but hey something good could come out of this in the long run.... good luck

dude, give it back to the insurance company and have em pay you out, that car of yours is worthless now, and to replace all the junk they stole, you will have to go and steal it back.
You guys have weird insurance policies down there

newsense: what kind of compression ratio would I be running with a b16a head on a GSR block? That doesn't sound like a bad idea
Unfortunately I only had liability on my car so insurance won't be paying for anything

same CR, why would it change because of the head, because of dome volume??
the difference in dome volume is negligible to change your CR

How do you think compression is reached then?
The less combustion chamber volume..the higher the compression.
The B16A dome is slightly bigger then the B18C1 head...therefore more more...therefore less compression.

Thanks,I tried the link, still doesnt say anything, I hear anything from 9.0 - 9.8.
stick with my formula it works better - B16 head + B18C block = about same CR.
