Cant redline
I installed my V-AFC and it pulls good......but the only thing is it is cutting of at 6000-6500rpm.....instead of 7400rpm
is it because the throttle position % is set too high and i'm not opening the throttle to that specific % on the high cam so that is why its not letting me redline?
Please help.....
Thanks

no cel...its boosting 5-6psi....i have stock injectors with FMU 12:1 and inline fuel pump.....it was bogging and not driving good so i leaned it out like this:
low cam setting: -5
high cam setting: -10
the Ne on the display shows 8000rpm
V/T Contin = 4800
V/T unmatch=2%
I still have the check valves on at 5psi....should i remove it?

no since you're running an FMU you should not take out the check valves. in fact you might need to add another check valve or two. that could be your problem, you might not be bleeding off enough boost. but since you're not getting a cel, you might be running too rich. the only way to tell is the tune it with a wide band.
it is cutting off at 6500rpm....6500rpm is where my ECU cuts off the rev when i'm at idle....its a safety feature in my H22 i guess....
One other quick question, what is the VTM signal use for?
One other quick question, what is the VTM signal use for?
never mind got it figured out......it was the VTM signal wire. Some people said not to hook it up because it wont allow VTEC to engage, so i unpluged the VAFC wire to the VTM wire and just ran the VTM wire back to the ECU....now it is allowing me to redline.....damn VTEC pulls
