An FMU with fuel regulator (not needed, and is redundant). and probably no missing link or check valves. your map sensor is probably seeing boost when it is not supposed to .

check your distributor. My old GSR used to bog and then was not able to rev past 3500. Changed the dizzy and all was good. Something easy to look at if you happen to have a spare one around. Good luck

My CB7 Accord did the same thing @ 3500 RPM. Turned out to be a bad crank sensor. Changed the dizzy, and was all good. (sorry man, I had to do it lol!)

Have you tried it with just a stock distributor without any of the MSD parts?

I would try this. Just swap it out for a stock one and see if that helps.

what ecu are you running? are you running a chipped ecu? the programming on the chip could be the problem.

Do you have ANY idea how rich or lean the engine is getting at that RPM?

Sounds like you're dumping a ton of gasoline in it, which is making massive carbon deposites. Or...you've really hosed your ringlands. Check compression if you can.

also you said you seaformed the car, using seaform usually fouls out the sparkplugs. Try some new plugs in the correct heatrange.

That's a major part of your issue there. Looks like you have work to do.

-ECU management (tune it first, don't start revving yet
-Sparkplugs
-Distributor
-Rid of the FMU.

I would get rid of the msd amplifier box. That is a major factor in your ignition. It will prematurely burn out the ignitor in the dizzy. Try that.
