can't clock my turbo to make oil face down! need help!
Okay I loosened all the bolts that I should and I can clock the compressor, but I can't budge the center section AT ALL! Do I need to remove the bolts? or what must I do?This is a t3/t4e. I need to rotate the center section so it can face down, right now its facing the block. Help!!

well to roatate the center section, loosen the bolts for the tubine. if it doesent spin freely, take a torch to it and start tapping it with a hammer

yes, both sides need to be loose at the same time, they need to be loosened that your fingers can turn the bolts.
then you may have to have something hold the hot side while trying to rotate the center. if you can;t get it to move easly, then re-tighten the cold side and have the hot side being clamped down firmly, but not too tight. and use the cold side as leverage to rotate the center where you want. then tighten the hot and loosen the cold to rotate the cold.

well no, obviouslythe ones on the compressor are only that, the compressor, the ones ont he exhuast move the center portion. loosen the exhuasts first. u dont need to torch and tap until its stuck. liek if its new, it wont be an issue, but liek i bought my turbo used so it kind of just stayed how the other dude had it clocked, so took a torch to it and slowly tapped it until the housing came off. but hopefully otuwont have to do that

If you need to rotate the exhaust side in relation to the center section, loosen bolts, spray with PB blaster, and rap on the exhaust section while holding the center section in a vise. It may be stuck good, so it may need a good pounding to loosen it. I've had to beat the **** out of a Chrysler T3 once with a air chiesel to get it to break free.

i used a torch. heat it evenly and slowly start tapping at an angle.the metals will expand and move easier. it may take a while, but it will get done, i remember how pissed i was when nothing was working. but power to the torch. good luck
