Cannot troubleshoot CEL

Cannot troubleshoot CEL
After installing my JRSC, I'm pretty sure I got all the engine harness connected back. but my ECU is showing a CEL and after I put the jumper for the diagnostic connector near the ECU, the CEL does not blink to show the code.
Help?
