Default Can u run a hondata chipped ecu with out the s200b box

i just recently sold my hondata s200b. i know uberdata u dont need nothing to run the burned chip and was wondering if i could do that with a hondata chipped ecu? also how hard would it be for somebody to make me a basemap from uberdata using my hondata chip as i plan on going uberdata this time around. thanks i know this is a tech question but most people running standalones r turbocharged.

to get your maps into uberdata you can just type all of the values into the uberdata maps. I've tried opening up hondata fuel and ignition maps with uberdata before and it wouldn't work.

Hondata/Uberdata are nothing more than software that allow you do change fuel, ignition, vtec, etc... They both require you to use a chipped Honda ECU. So to answer your question yes your chipped ECU will work with uberdata. The blue box that comes with hondata doesn't run anything, it's just a security device so people can't hack into the hondata coding. It shouldn't be too hard for a tuner to create a basemap for your car in uberdata.

Are you asking if you can run your ECU with the Hondata bin file on the chip without the s200 blue box? If so I dont think that you can. Im about 99% sure that you need the box conected. Some one please correct me if Im wrong.

you can't run the chip w/o the box. he meant to copy the values into uberdata manually. you just need to view the chip in romeditor again.

if you didnt need the s200 box then anyone could run the hondata without paying for it. its there for security measures.
