Default hondata ?

I'm planning on running 6psi on a b18b...
Do I send in my 'puter to hondata for modification?
They then mail it back with a base program?
and then I have to find someone to tune it for my boost application?

Can I just get a program that will work for 6psi?
nowhere in Colorado tunes Hondata **** yet..
thanx peace

1. Yes you need to chip it. You can get another ecu and send that to them if you don't want to have down time.
2. Most likely they can pick the best program suited to your needs.
3. Most defintely yes.
4. No, you should have it tuned for YOUR car to be safe.

Yes, you will need to have your ECU modified. However, unless you are also buying the blue box from Hondata, they will only socket your ECU if you send it in. Which means, it will not come back with any base program. It's up to the dealer that you purchase the Hondata system to provide the base program.
