Power curve won't be as linear as it was before.
Car will suck more gasoline.

I've got a cartech 20005 and the bleeder is opened up all the way - I think it's rising around 2:1 right now.

My short list:
Heavier heat load on the engine and cooling system.
Higher underhood temps.
Requires high octane fuel, thus spendy gas bills.
The EPA may not like you.
The cops may really not like you.
Tires get really expensive since the crappy all-seasons just won't cut it for long.
Clutch may wear faster depending on how you drive.
You will replace brakes like mad if you drive in the city.
Exponential boost on snowy roads can get pretty dangerous.
The number one reason....
You will always want to go faster, quicker, and more boost.

con? You will ALWAYS WANT MORE!
I can remember saying, "All I want to do is get a simple turbo setup so I can just get a little more pep out of this car." and I was happy. that is... WAS...
but g0d damn! Every freakin paycheck, I have to upgrade some component or another. I've progressed from 7psi on a d15b7 to a soon to be 20+psi on a z6.
friggin money eater. but OH how i LOVE it so!
