Default HELP before I order part for my drag 3 kit :)

ok, another problem :*( the brass oil "T" thing wont fit on my block. I read that one post, but it doesnt seem to answer my question. I am figuring I need to order the 1/8" NPT(f) to 1/8" BSPT(M) adapter, but is that the right size for a 2001 gsr? Is there a way to install it without another adapter? Is there any closer places to order it from cuz im in california and I dont want to delay my install that long. Also how much does that cost????

I really appreciate all the input and help you guys have given me THnx

I got the 1/8" NPT brass tee to fit. But yes 1/8" BSPT is the correct size.

so I only need the 1/8" NPT(f) ? not the 1/8" BSPT(M)?

How much did it cost you dustin?

haha damn you on like 24-7 ......its all good though......thanx for the help.....i would be nowhere in the install if it werent for you. Oh and another question, when you mounted your intercooler, it says to put as close to the radiator as possible, but for my car there is an AC thing sticking out. So I have to mount it infront so there is about 2 inches between my radiator and intercooler. Im not sure if my bumper gonna fit.

sorry another question, how do I tune my hks racing bov? can i just stick it on there and it will be fine? there is no marking on it to tell which way is softer or stiffer. well neway...have you heard it before?

haha i let you go now....thanx

The 1/8 npt tee should work fine...are you sure you're threading the fitting into the block straight? Make sure you dont have any dirt/junk on the threads and it should go in. Sometimes it's difficult to get a straight shot since it's pretty cramped working back there, just be sure not to cross thread no matter which fitting you use, but most turbo Hondas use the 1/8 npt with no probs...

On the AC line you can GENTLY bend it so that it's almost flush against the condenser core. This will allow the IC to be mounted further back. Best thing to do is to temporarily install the turbo/man/dp assembly first and clock the compressor housing so that the nozzle is pointed downward and also parallel to the radiator, then run the pipe from the turbo to IC. This way you'll know exactly where to mount the IC so that everything lines up correctly for a clean install...
