Default Can this destroy the turbo?

So I had my precision sc34 turbo rebuilt by precision and it's just been way too cold for me to work on my car. I got it back from Precision and it was all cleaned up, but since I have had it back and taken it out of the packaging bag, the hot side has gotten some surface rust on it. I was thinking about taking some steel wool to it but I dont want to if it doesnt really matter. Also, since it's been sitting so long, should I run some oil through the center to get the turbine lubricated? Thanks

A little bit of oil will probably be good for the CHRA. And hot sides rust all the time, it happens to just about every turbo with time, but, you can scrape it off or whatever you want to do.
