Default cam suggestions for d16

ok i have a sleeved z6 block with a pnp y8 head. im using a t3/gt40 turbo and im also going to be spraying at low end to get the turbo spooling faster. any recommendations on cams and valve train? im thinking zex but am open to suggestions since im new in the forced induction area. thanks

Look for the Zex 59500, it's a little bigger than the 59300. Zex Man was running that in his race car. I guess in your case since you have a Y8 head it would be the 105500?

59300 nothing worng with that cam, my friend makes great power on that cam

59300 has been proven over and over....or you could shell out for a little more and get the new 59500 which is supposed to make more power and give you a longer powerband

Why not? They have a 59500 for the Z6. The Y8 gets no love?

Yeah, I was kind of upset when I heard this also. Maybe they will make one if we complain enough. Seems like the Y8 gets the short-end of the stick on this deal.

You can use the 59500 on the Y8...it's the same grind/profile...just have to adjust the mechanical timing accordingly
