right now i've got a b18c del sol, with a gt28r. custom log manifold, custom downpipe. chipped p72 ecu (phearable.net), rc440 injectors. I keep frying compressors, and my mechanic is telling me it's because there's too much heat near the AC compressor. i'm thinking i'm going to go monday and talk to a man about fabbing me a new manifold/downpipe to move the turbo away from the compressor an inch or so. i was also curious about the performance of supercharger setups, if i cant keep the turbo and AC i might see about swapping my turbo kit for a supercharger. mainly i was wondering if some of you guys running turbos and AC could send me some pics of your setups, specifically your downpipe in relation to your compressor.
