Default the buildup is beginning.

sup guys , im starting to get butterflies . the D series is getting some forged goodies.
2000 d16y8
darton sleeves(i believe)
CP 9.5:1 turbo pistons
eagle rods with the bolt upgrade
gonna try to do some crank work , knife it and micropolish it , and balance
P&P the head, as well as IM and TB
isky valvetrain
rs machines turbo cam

i will have to run on my current greddy kit untill i can get a new setup
im thinking of an sc 61
lovefab a/c manifold
tial wastegate
i might keep the emanage , but leaning twards hondata to better seat myself on the bandwagon
precision intercooler as well

my goal is 400whp i hope to achieve it

i know imma get some "this thread is worthless without pics" but im really excited to be jumpin into this stage . getting away from "i hope these stock rods hold" to
"man up the boost these ******* are h beams" heheheh i cant wait . this should be done in 3 weeks

share your thoughts , sound like a nice setup?

btw this is only happening because i fried some ringlands the other day . when god closes one door he opens another . and that door had forged internals behind it.

Good to have some more big Y8 builds coming up.

With a 400whp goal I would definately recommend jumping on that Hondata bandwagon and ditch the emanage.
