building head for boost

Default building head for boost

theres a kid in my town that says he built his head to hold 30 psi. THis sounds weird to me do you build ahead to hold boost never heard of this.

I hope he meant the block. The head has nothing to do with how much boost your motor can hold.

Really? So my stock D16A6 valve won't have a problem at 30psi? I'm sure the head gasket will hold up just fine too, under 30psi that is.
