Default stock head....

How much boost can a stock GSR head handle safely? I'm planning on sleeving and building my bottom end in a month or two, and I want to know if I should save for headwork of any kind before the rebuild. (yes, I did a search)

If you plan on increasing your redline, then performance valve springs and titanium retainers are a good thing to have. By porting and polishing the head youll increase the airflow into your engine, but other then that your block is usually the first thing to go byebye when boosting.

If I have a built block (sleeved, all the goodies) and a stock head (minor pnp), assuming proper tuning, how much can I boost?

I don't think you need to worry about the head.. it's the head gasket that might not like the boost.
