Default Building B16 for Turbo setup

Heres my build:

Stock B16A2 head with an older JDM b16 block
Precision SC34 Turbo
RC 440cc Injectors
Walbro 255lp hp Fuel Pump
UberData Basemap (untuned, waiting for it to get tuned)
Tial 38mm Wastegate
TurboX BOV
JRC 6in Intercooler

I am going to be hopfully moving soon to goto college and I want a car that can run fine on the street and I won't have to much problems with. I don't need a huge amount of boost, I would be satisfied with 10psi probably. I am just concerned about the stability of my block because of its age and the wear and tear the turbo is putting on it. So what I am trying to find out is what I should do as far as building my block or buying a different block, or what not, just to get it to run safe and not having to be worried and to get it to run about 10psi. Any ideas?

IF tuned well with your system. I see no reason why it shouldn't run reliably for years. Just don't get nutz with "fiddling" with areas you might not know well, such as timing adjustment etc., and you should be fine.

Don't you think I should build the block a little bit?

one thing at a time, worry about getting it tuned first, then if you have money buy a shortblock and build it

if tuned correctly you can make gobs of power on a stock block stock head.

thats what i plan on doing.

If you're just running 10 PSI and you have a good tune, then stock sleeves and internals should be fine. If you start detonating, then it will quickly die.

i have pretty much the same setup that you have and i bet that you would be satisfied with 8 lbs of boost or so on a street car that will make the tires spin even at that low of boost just my opinion

You may max out those 440s if you plan on making upper 200s.

I used them with t-bolt clamps and they worked great.. If you do have one blow off then spray some hairspray on the pipe and put it back on..
