Build up for NOS???
My younger brother has went a 12.51@114 in the 1/4 witha a 130 wet shot. The only mods done to the car is ignition, 255 pump, cold air intake, mt 22x8x15 slicks, clutch, and a good exhaust. The car has well over 100 passes down the track with not one problem. It is all in tunning. The right plugs and timming. The egt's never get above 1525 and we run race gas in it at the track.
Oh by the way the car is a 94 GSR.

first off, dont listen to the guy telling you get get 10.5 : 1 or a little bit more then running a 100 shot of NOS because you need lower compression then that to and also to be safe. Listen to someone who uses NOS and has experience with it. You sound like NOS is the way you want to go so heres some guidence. First off you're going to need to go direct port because wet is always safer and when going with high amounts of NOS 80+ its always good to have an even amount of NOS with fuel always present. Pistons: well I dont recomment you get anything lower then a 9 : 1 compression ratio because your car will lack the HP for daily driving, but stay around 9.2 : 1. Stronger rods are next, Crower, AEM, whatever you want. The block is the most important thing when running NOS. theres no need for stiffer valve springs since the redline isnt going to change. stainless steel valves are also good, i read you already have a set. An ignition, MSD BTM and adjust your timing from there. spark plugs need to be cold. NGK 7 . For fuel, fuel pump, an AFC for tunning is helpful. This setup you could run 120 shot direct port safely. If theres more, feel free to add it on, this post is already too long
well I was gonna go with 9.8:1 pistons and I already have ignition, direct port nos, retard box, 7 series ngk plugs, fpr, vafc, and many other things, i Just ordered a 255lph fuel pump and next thing is a test pipe, apexi n1, eagle rods, je pistons and then I'm gonna up the boost to 125 at first and get it dyno tuned it st. pete I hear he's good
awesome! Good luck with your setup Typerman
With lower compression you will be able to squeeze more NOS, 9.8:1 sounds fine for 125 shot as long as you have the fuel to support it.

Well, I spayed a 80 shot on mine. I sprayed three times a week for about a year. With no probs. . . . I had a stock block w/JE pistins and Crwoer rods with a stock head.
