nos on itb's?
Hey guys I'm in the process of building an all motor gsr and I bought obx 48mm itb's and curious if there's a way setting up nos with those and if its safe to use with my itb's. Anyone ever do this or know anything about this set up?
I got already: comp 2 cams, 48mm itb's,s eagle rods, skunk2 springs/retainers
Next on the list to get: 12.0:1 pistons (wiseco or cp), valves, lsd, nos kit maybe??
^^^^ To let you guys know where my plans are with the build.

Re: nos on itb's?
So what would be the safest route dry or wet shot? I've never done nos before so I'm just curious. How much of a shot would be safe too... I'm sorry if I'm asking silly "newbie" questions just wanna get the facts straight before I start investing into it.

Re: nos on itb's?
From ZEX's FAQ's page:
From Nitrous Express's FAQ's page:
The picture I posted is a "wet" kit. I'm not a big spray-head, but I believe wet kits are considered better and safer, while dry kits are easier to install.
Q: What is the difference between a “wet” nitrous kit and a “dry” nitrous kit?
A: A wet nitrous kit mixes nitrous and enrichment fuel by means of an injector nozzle that is mounted before the throttle body. This mixture is then drawn into the engine through the throttle body and intake manifold. A "dry" nitrous kit injects only nitrous with it´s injector while at the same time, increasing the engine´s fuel rail pressure to feed enrichment fuel through the engine´s own injectors.

Q. What is the difference between a wet and a dry system?
A. A "Wet" system introduces a homogenous mixture of nitrous and atomized fuel into the incoming air stream, thus providing a perfect air/fuel ratio for each.

They're just basic flare lines and fittings The fittings that thread into the ITBs are separate pills though, you'll need to order them to match the size of the shot you want to run.
Any major company that sells nitrous, nitrous accessories, and nitrous kits should sell the hardware you'll need to make it work.

Re: nos on itb's?
yea you can't make it work using stuff from home depot
I suggest you do a lot of research before you start dicking with anything
what are you using to tune the car?

Re: nos on itb's?
Nos has a great direct port kit that goes underneath the injector so u dont have to drill anything and u can run a 100 shot safely. Also the kit comes with all the lines u need u just have to bend it to ur manifold and ur set up.
