build my bottom end?
groupbuy seems to have everything im looking for...im getting the injectors (440s) soon but they also have eagle connecting rods ($349 set of 4) and JE/SRP pistons (JE $475, SRP $379)...are these good prices? i want to know what i should expect from going with this set-up and if it's even worth it??? right now i have the in-line pro headgasket but if i am gonna do it im gonna get the 9.0:1 compression pistons and put a factory headgasket in place...i wasn't really gonna do this now but if the prices are good i will take advantage of it if it's worth the $$$$$...next thing you know they'll have hondata on there and i'll be straight up fuct later.

naa when i get 440s i'll run 10psi or so...but i wanna make sure i can supply the fuel first, 7 is just me being conservative right now...when i go to the track on friday im gonna run some race gas and 9psi...after i get the injectors i'll ask the board what kind of boost i can run with my set up...right now im just putting the car together and then i'll tune and set max boost, and yeah i am running the vortech FMU that was supplied with the kit...later.

Hey B17a, I have a B17 as well and Eagle doesn't make "off-the-shelf" rods for it....unless the sources I have are wrong.

yeah i only run 7psi because im sure the stock injectors are near their limit...i asked but no one could really tell me what kind of boost i could get away with...later.

we are going to hook up zex nitrous kit @ 75 shot and turn the boost to about 12psi (or more) and see how many runs i can get out of this motor...

Your stock rods should handle 300hp no problem with good tuning. Endyn doesnt make H beam rods for the B17 yet, but I bet if you call up T.O.O he could tell you a long story about when he will be making them.
Also a note, You will need to get your bottom end balacned after you installed Steel rods and Forged pistons since they are all differnt weights from your O.E Cast Pistons/Rods.
450cc injectors on a stock Prom? No way Not even with a FMU, you will get 14mpg, foul plugs and run very rich 0~8 psi. Trust me you will hate it!, I ran 380cc injectors with a FMU and I couldnt handle it. FP was even turned down to 20psi at idle just to keep my eyes from burning. The only way you are going to run a large set of injectors and daily drive this is with the Hondata system. Or Zdyne if you have a 88-91 CRX/Civic

If i were you i would go some stand alone fuel management system. You should look into Accel DFI, or Haltech. You might as well do it once and then forget about it.
