Icon3 Bov's

Hey H-T, was looking up some vids about Bov's and in vids it was explaining that your bov should be blowing out air even under idle with full vacuum or under a load, but I was wondering if you could maybe weld a pipe to the inter cooler or back into the intake system? or maybe even trap the air into a container and then freeze it then release it back into the intake system? Idk if possible was just thinking about it after seeing the explanation of bovs, wanted to know if I'm just crazy or if its already been done or in the works?

Uh, if you're system is under vacuum, then the BOV will be sucking IN air, not blowing it out.

Also, your idea is a bit flawed. If you recirculate back into the intercooler or piping, how is it supposed to release boost pressure?

What do you think a plub back style system does bud. It recirculates the boost pressure. basically releases the pressure at the bov and feeds it back into the inlet side of the turbo thus slowing the wheel down. Its an emissions thing it doesnt really help anything so his theory isnt really any good.

the bov is in a pressure area, no vacuum the air is blowing out if it's open at idle
