Default My bov leak

I lost 2 psi at high rpm (between 5500 and 7000) I think it's my bov (1 g dsm bow) it's a old bov and I think the spring is maybe tired.....anyone ?

it could be your intercooler piping. have you made sure all your couplers are really tightened down? can you hear any air escaping anywhere?

This seems like the more likely culprit.

BTW, how much boost are you running, Slim? If it's less than 15psi, I'd wager it's not the BOV.

All the couplers are ok and my i/c too. My bov suck air at idle and always make noise it's why im thinking the bov is the problem. I boost 8.5 psi.

A blow off valve can't leak ? ....can the wastegate be the problem?

your BOV sucks air at idle??? do you have a vacuum source hooked up to it???????

yes....from the intake
If I block the piping after the bov with my hand the motor don't shut down and the bov make noise (suck air) and if I block the piping and the bow with my other hand the motor shut down.

A lot, if not all BOV's suck air at idle. There is more vac. in the manifold than in the intake pipe, thus it is open.

Thank's for the info.
I boost 8.5 psi (the max of the wastegate) under 5500 rpm..after that my guage drop at 6.5 ....it's weird!!!
