BOV now noticeibly louder after tranny swap? Dumptube keeps cracking as well.
Im running a DSM 1st gen BOV and honesltly could care less what it sounds like accept for the fact that after I did my tranny swap this weekend, Ive noticed that my BOV is A LOT louder, even my buddies mentioned something. I didnt do anything to the rest of the car, just took off the upper charge piping and un did the bov hose, thats it. Why did the sound change so drastically? The same thing happend with my wastegate when I took it off as well, although I did change the dumptube size... I have had to reweld my dumptube like 5-6 times now and Im wondering why. Its SS and fairly thick material. Ive braced it as well and its still cracking. Is it because the heat change is so drastic to the dumptube and flange when I hit boost that its hard on the metal or viberation or what? Its about 14inches long, doesnt even leave the engine bay (its super dirty in my bay now cause its leaking AGAIN) so its not like its super long. Any help would be rad.

Nobody else has had thier dumptube continue to keep cracking even after re-welding it and bracing it?
