my type s barely goes off under normal driving.
like shifting at like 3k or so under light throttle.
in fact ii dont think it does at all.... or itll just make a fluttering noise

Heh, mine's open and blowing at idle.
GT2871R. Sometimes it goes twweeeeeerrrrrrrrrreeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeerrrrrrrrrr just sitting at a stoplight. I had to adjust it firmer after a week of that.
Yeah, with a small turbo, it gets OLD quick! Sounds great though.
