Default Boosting a type-r

Before u guys start saying do a search n what not i did got to page 3 then search went down. Im still breaking in my type-r motor and want to do a mild turbo setup maybe something around 300hp. Ive been reading up a lil bit about boost im still a novice to it which is what lead me to posting here just to get a few opinions from u boosting gurus. So far my car has all stock internals, vafc, 2 1/2 in. cat and cat back, aebs mani, ctr crank pulley, fpr, few other but thats about all that matters i geuss. The kit i was thinking of putting together to possibly meet my goal of 300whp goes possible a garret t3, log type exhaust mani, dsm injectors or rc 550s, adjustable cam gears, wideband of course and before going turbo thinking of converting to odb-1 (dont think i wanna run it using my vafc)and runing it like that to work out an probs that might occur before going boost. So feel free to add things you feel i might need or changes to my setup. Im sure i will change a few things before i go boost as i continue to learn and comprehend more about it.

The reason the search "didn't work" is because it timed out because you sat there for too long, the search isn't down.

i saw that one majority of that is them arguing about 750cc injectors dunno how that helps me. Alot of the others had built motors so those dont help me to much either. Im basically just lookin for some input on a good setup and if it seems im in the right direction for my setup.

so u rebuilt your type-R motor? what compression are u runing or was it a stock rebuild? I wouldnt run the vafc as fuel management with the dsm injectors. look into hondata/crome/neptune. and u can easily hit 300whp. goodluck with your project.

yea its stock type-r internals but im thinkin of switchin to odb-1 to run hondata or something like that before i go turbo just to make sure it runs good on that without boost. Then go turbo. I was basically just lookin for opinions for a good reliable turbo set up on a stock type-r. I was thinkin of getting a thicker head gasket to lower the compression i need to start lookin into which one i wanna get. I wanted to see if i was on the right track about doing it cuz i never messed with turbos before so im trying to cover all the areas and make sure im not doing something wrong
