Default boosting 10psi on B18C1

What would you need to boost 10 psi on a B18C1 with NO engine management system?

110 octane gasoline or a whole lot of prayers, your choice.

Let's just say that when my wastegate let me boost to 10 psi even with 450cc injectors and VAFC setup to run a little rich normally, I had some MASSIVE detonation starting to show up and my J&S Safeguard payed for itself very quickly. Don't do it man. If you want 10psi you better at LEAST lower your compression and retard your timing very severely... in which case you're going to lose all the power you would have gained from the extra PSI. Just stick with like 7-8 and tune it right, it will be plenty fast.

What would I need to boost 7-8 psi safley, could I do it with just the basic Rev-hard kit w/ 1 rang colder plugs? Or would it be safer to just boost 5 for now until I get some larger injectors, aftermarket ignition and a some sort of fuel control device
