Default Boosted stock d16

Ok there is a performance shop here in milwaukee that says they will take a d16 i believe it is and drop like 8-9psi in it. Is this safe for the car??? Besides fuel managment and what not will the internals hold? Im not sure if this one is d-series. He said it was like a 99ex non v-tec. Hes putting all that into a 95dx hatch for 3200, turbo and all. That is with the motor btw. So the motor and the entire turbo setup for 3200. He said i could run like 8psi daily and 12 race. Does any of this sound accurate? Good deal? Its a t28 off a sr20 btw.

i would assume that parts alone would run you well over 1000, my ka-t project for my 240 would have ran me the best of 3000 in parts but and thats me installing it. This shop is sayin they will do it all for 3200. And like i said it includes a new motor with like 20k miles on it or so.

No, but I wouldn't buy anything car related unless it's on ebay. To date I've spent about $5k on ebay car parts. Those parts alone total over $10k at nopi.com.

Ebay or bust. You will save thousands.

seriously, that isn't a good deal, especially for an FMU setup, which sucks! I built my turbo kit for $1000 and it will smoke any and every greddy kit. Go on http://www.ecimulti.org/uberdata and learn about real fuel management and then put together your own kit and laugh in the shop's face.
