Default boosted poor mans type r bulit!?

hey guys I was wondering if any one have this set up!?
how is it,n wat y'all think of it!?
need sum help!!

00'b16head with type r internals
97'gsr block bone stock
00"b16 trans

Garett t4 turbo kit
3bar map sencor
550rc injectors
255 fuel pump
38 trim tail waste gate

I think you're going to need to be a little more specific if you want any help. You can boost it and it will work...anything more than that will require a little thought on your end

its fantastic!!!need more info on it,wat psi u gna run it on,tuning?fuel, as Schister66 said..it will work but need more info on wat u want to do with it

*T4 is way bigger than you'll want, unless it's a divided-runner manifold.

*3bar is overkill with stock internals, especially with a T4.

*550's will barely use half that pump's capabilities, same for the turbo's max output.

*38mm will be much too small for T4 setup unless you think your stock internals will take 30psi daily.


If this will be the same setup you'll use for the next 2 years or more, I'd suggest different parts that match eachother's possible output. 50trim t3/t04e turbo, 44mm gate, and a 190lph pump. The bigger pump will actually dump it's extra heat into the fuel, most people don't realize that.

The other thing you could do is trade the itr head parts for gsr parts + money, and use that cash for forged pistons and rods. I was talking to the guys at King Motorsports and they recommend GSR cams until your goals reach above 450whp.

on 9psi ran 11.42@121mph on 25x8.7x13 MH slicks on Lenso's
