Those that have boosted h22s, what cams are u using or going to use. And what do u recommend and why.

I say its all in the tune, I would hold off on cams untill the bottom end is all shored up (read built, or tuned really well as in the previous thread). To me in a boosted H setup (at least h22a wise) I dont see to many with boost cams, ths stock seem to put down pretty good power.

Yeh i was told by someone who had a boosted h22 they had a set of turbo cams and ended up putting stock ones back in because they could make better numbers and easier to tune with them....but im not sure.....my .02

In all the years of racing the Hatchback and Coupe with the H22 motor we used stock cams in all of our motors.

 

Stock cams w/ cam gears and get it tuned by a pro, makes best power.
