Im boosting z6 with stock internals and im using a dsm 14b turbo, i was wondering how much boost i can run with that turbo with stock internals. another ? what can stock sleeves handle as far as boost?

 

the general rule of thumb is less than 200hp on a stock bottom end..

stock sleeves can handle 400-500 .. look around on the forum ..

14b's are good for 200-250 depending on supporting mods..

I'd do a compression test before you decide to boost to make sure your motor is in good, working order so you can save yourself the hassle of a blown up engine after an hour of fun with boost.

 

I'd say you could run 11 lbs with that turbo no probs with a good tune. Maybe 195-220 hp.

 

250hp easy with that turbo get dsm bov 450cc from talon and eliminate that stock elbow run at least 2.5 or 3 inch dp front mount good base map or tune also get cdm mani cast with t25 flange you should be around 250 at 10 plus psi
