TD04 Turbo, internal W/G... how to alter/limit boost ?
Going with a TD04 Mitsubishi turbo with a stock internal W/G... few questions:
1) Any feedback from current users ?
2) What is the stock boost ? (I've heard as much as 12psi !)
3) How can I lower the boost setting of the stock w/g ? (Bend the housing ? Lengthen the actuator rod ?
4) Can I use the stock DP flange/fitting
5) What is the DSM O2 'trick' ?
X2 (Any info would be great)

Boost is not really your answer...Boost= to how hard ur turbo works...not the power your car will produces...
You ever heard of car say 7psi of boost run like 100+HP and other 8psi run like 60hp...
It all depent on how ur tuning done...upgrade injector, fuel pump to get that gas in...
First make sure ur engine is enough for that boost and dyno tuning it is the important key...
Ohhhh..i'm out of track did I?..heheh anyways if you get everything right and tune the turbo..the t04 boost is not just 12psi...You can go up to 30psi or more I think in that turbo because it has a big turbine, but slow on spooling at low end power that all...
Hey good luck on boosting

Didn't answer ur question
1. stock boost on mitsubishi turbo, if they come in factory is only 5-6psi cause they want to get liability on the car.....
2nd. You can alter the boost and change it setting by getting a boost controller and hook it up...but if want more boost need bigger injector and better fuel pump than stock...
3rd.. No dont use stock stuff if u want more boost...if you upgrade boost need to upgrade other too...I just did mine on a t3/t04 hybrib turbo...only 5-6psi for now, but getting more boost soon....
If want more boost power
1) bigger injector....370cc - 450cc is good enough for boost on mitshubishi
2) Bigger and high flow fuel pump...more air through turbo need fuel to mix it up..
3) With bigger injector you need something to control it fuel flow....AEM(standalone unit is best), Hondata is next unit, Greddy E, Apexi SAFC/VAFC is what I use for up to 10psi is perfect and cheap....
And that it...you all set to boost.......

Well, I still need to know the stock boost level from the turbo... I prolly want lower than stock (I doubt 5-6psi is stock psi on a DSM...). An MBC can't lower boost.
If the stock pressure is 9-12 psi, I want to net below that.

(Come on, I know someone runs this turbo or had a dsm before... )
