Default boost stopped building

i just finished my turbo install on my 99 gsr. i drove it a couple times without any problems, though i didn't rev it very high. one time i drove it, parked for a few minutes, and when i started the car back up the boost stopped building. a few minues previously everything was working just fine. i already checked for loose piping or vaccum hoses. here's my setup:

t3/t4 turbonetics turbo
revhard log manifold
tial 38 mm wg
hks evc (the original one)
vortech bov

what could the problem be?

Maybe the wastegate is stuck partially open.

the dp is open. i just started the car and didn't feel any air coming out at idle from the dp. the bov seems to be closed, isn't it supposed to be open at idle? when i stick my hand in it i can't feel any air moving and the valve feels closed.

what're the chances of the ebc taking a ****? i know its pretty old. i'm thinking maybe the valve got stuck or something? its wierd cuz i parked the car for like 10 minutes, and it just stopped going into boost.

Run the WG off spring only.

wait.. are you actually driving the car building boost or are you just revving it in neutral? if you're just revving it in neutral, this doesn't surprise me.. there usually isn't enough load to build boost.

yes, i am driving it. i know that it won't build boost in neutral. i've revved it to about 7k rpm when driving without it reaching the 0 mark.

Hmmm.. i dont know sounds like you got boost lag.. you must have the new gt50r.. you wont get boost till 9.5k rpm no im jp i dont know.. sounds weird.. im thinking it has to do something with the wastegate or you should check your silicone hose again...

well if u have already checked everything and u can hear the turbo spool and ur still arent building boost....then it must be something stupid like a vacuum leak or intercooler pipes, so check again.....UNLESS u decided to take it to 7k without any sort of tune and ur blew ur motor
