Default Boost spikes (overboost?????) question. HELP

Is this Overboost or boost spikes?

I have the Greddy profec B and setted it to 1.2 Bar. It is pretty cool holding 1.2 Bar in all driving conditions, but when I hold the throttle in a sertan position, so that the turbo spool realy loud and sligtly boost about 0.2 Bar and then suddenly WOT, boost rush up to 1.6 Bar for a few thents. I have adjusted the balance **** all the way left, but I get the same results minus having slower spool up time.

Should I put the jumper position (rear side of the Unit) on the "over-boost occurs" position? Or is it just normal with such kind of an boost controller and I have to take care of this boost climbing.

so, do I need an other kind of manifold to get more exhaust gases to the waste gate?

drag manifold is bad about boost creep.when i had one,i could not make less than 18lbs.now that i have the wastegate off of the turbine housing(downpipe flange),i can turn it down a good bit and it goes to the boost i set it at and stays there rock solid.

hmm, can you describe this more accurate, I don't get it. You could not make less than 18lbs???? Where did you had the wg and where is it now, what manifold are you using now?

yeah, once i got 3" down pipe apexi ic and larger ic piping,it was flowing too good.the fact that the wastegate was on one cylinder allowed the pressure to pass the wastegate.i made a manifold myself (it rocks by the way).it has no port for the wastegate.the wastegate is fed from a hole in the downpipe flange and lines up with the original wastegate hole.it works great.
