AVC-R users..
I'm thinking of buying a second-hand AVC-R for my teg. But i'd like to know.. how many boost settings can you set on it, and is it easy to switch between boost settings while you're driving? Also, if the AVC-R had 2 boost settings, for example, is it possible to turn off the AVC-R, so that you could have like 3 boost settings? (the 3rd boost setting being that of the wastegate)
Right now, I want 3 boost settings, one for everyday driving.. one for street racing.. and one for drag. My current boost controller only allows for 2 boost settings What do you all think I should do/get?

Re: AVC-R users.. (VTC_CiViC)
another thing I just heard from a friend.. AVC-Rs don't handle high boost too well.. is this true? I plan on setting the boost points at 1.2 bar and 1.5 bar.. the same person told me that boost would be more stable and wouldn't swing with an HKS EVC III.. his comments have truly confused me

they handle high boost just fine as long as your wastegate setup is properly matched to the boost level (i.e., don't try to run 25psi on a .45 bar wastegate spring...)
