Default boost solenoid problems

currently trying to use a gm solenoid with s300. have it wired as followed, one wire to a11 and the other to +12 volt source. the problem is everytime i turn on the ingniton the solenoid gets activated no matter what i set the solenoid activation to. the gm solenoid is a normally open solenoid, but i have tried it both open and close with no luck. took the ecu to a reputable shop today and have it inspected, everything checked out fine. not sure what it could be this is the second solenoid that i have tried.

is it pulsing like it should or is it going all the way closed when you turn on the ignition? I had one ecu that did this to me. Never could figure out what it was. It would just pull a ground to it no matter what.

Use the least amount of heat to those components.. preferrably a 15 watt Iron or a temp controlled unit. and if switching the transitor does not work, then you'll have to get another ECU.
