What lb spring is in the wastegate? Also, one of the settings on the back of the profec is for internal and external wastegate config I think... Not sure though.

sounds like you have a 10psi spring to me....or it may be spiking a little bit. Try runing without the profec and just use the spring and see what it boosts to.

make sure all your vaccum are all hook up correctly and no vaccum leaks and waste gate and boost controller should be tune too.

That's not going to do anything. Is the boost spiking up to 10psi and going back level to 9? Or is it holding steady at 10? If it's holding steady, you've got a 10psi spring, despite what you've been told. If it's spiking, and going down, check your vaccum lines and fittings.

if it is spiking, you could have an exhaust leak in the manifold. i had one one mine. 5 lbs. spring jumps to 9 in high rpms. welded up the cracked manifold and ported the wastegate housing and steadly hold to 5 lbs. now

maybe dumb questions but what port did you hook your wastegate vacuum to?

Also, do you have any check valves or anything in your vacuum lines that are preventing your wastegte from seeing positive pressure and opening (seeing boost and opening) I mention that cause I used a factory vacuum line for my wastegate from the Cruise control and it had a check valve on it that stopped my wastegate from opening, I had it set for 10psi and it spiked upt o 15. Took it off and no problem.
