GSR-550hp
B16-400hp
LS-4-450hp
lmk wut u guys think........

Re: boost power limits.....
I wouldn't put more then 350 on stock sleeves.
That is with a perfect tune as well.
To be really streetable and a daily driver that will last I wouldn't break into the 3s with a stock block. Thats just me being conservative and you saying "safely".
I have seen plenty of motors do more then that but that is not what you asked.

DO IT ON ALL FOURS
Re: boost power limits.....
No, no, and NO! You also rated the B16 for LESS horsepower than a LS? Haha...
For stock bottom ends:
B16 - 350whp
B18C - 350whp
B18A/B - 300whp
Those are the upper limits and the tune better be perfect. Have they been pushed further than that? Yes, but they just don't last.
Stock sleeves with forged internals?
B16 - 450whp
B18C - 450whp
B18A/B - 450whp
This is about the upper limit of stock sleeves. The tune must be perfect and a cracked sleeve will eventually happen after a while. A while could me many years or a short time. That is the unfortunate side effect of mass production. Yes, they have been pushed further but this is the typical limit.

Re: boost power limits.....
in stock botom end its all about the rods if u have acces to e85 or race gas and a good tuner! we all knw ppl r makein 600whp with aftermarket rods and pistons and stock sleeves its not about the sleeves
b16 rods r the strongest! good for 500+ when shot peend
gsr rods r good for about 450-470
ls rods r the weakest somewhere 350-380
tune must be onpoint

E85 burns slower which results in pulling a lot more timing at a WOT Load.
It allows the tuner to advance about 5-12 degrees of more timing at a certain boost
level(especially in vtec since dynamic compression drops), achieving greater torque/horsepower output as stated before.
Since you are new to the turbo game, I'd recommend sticking to a stock B Swap setup
and having fun at about 7-12 psi until you get the hang of what a turbo car is really
about.
If I were you, start looking into an Precision sc34. Great turbo for starters, got it
on my GSR.
