Ok, Im rebuilding my worn out GSR. Im doiing rods and pistons, but I sort of want to not spend the money sleeving it. Just wanted to know how much boost I could run on stock sleeves with low compression pistons, and would a block gaurd help or do they just suck anyways. I I get good enough answers that lead to resleeving, then I will put sleeves in. Thanks for the help.

i would say about 8-9 psi. on a stock gsr would be fine.

dont listen to this guy^^^^ stock sleeves are fine just depends on your goals... tuning is the key

If you are asking about a max psi #, then you need to do a bit of research. 10psi on a t25 is going to make much different power than 10psi on a gt35. Power is the most common variable used to predict failure with known engine components.

Most say:
Stock block - 300whp
Forged slugs and rods - 400whp
Sleeves and forged internals - A lot.....
