As long as you dont put any load on the engine, meaning driving at WOT, you'll be fine. On my street car a few years ago I drove from Dallas to Houston, San antonio then back to dallas in the 100+ deg. weather with my AC full blast with no problem. But the turbo kinda of freaks out the crusie control.

As long as you drive like you normaly would on the highway you'll be fine. BTW, I like your sig.

so this is the question, do you guys think its safer to boost on a motor that your going to be driving on long tirps and mainly around town, or do a na set up, i was thinking boost because, you can turn boost levels down and with na you always have compression on the motor and big cams.....

All I have to say is if the semi boost on you. You have to punch it.

No I have been on some 3hr trips and haven’t had a problem and I boosted a couple of times on the trip but they asked for it dam truck drivers pulling up next to me and spolin but I showed them.

Turbo car should be just as reliable as the car N/A as long as the install is correct and you don't boost the whole way.

Just be on and off boost and not constant. I mean on long trips you'll be unlikely to be boosting ALL the time anyway. Most the time you'll be in vacuum so it shouldn't be any different than driving an NA car but punch it at 100mph and you'll have a big grin on your face

Just do a decent setup, then just drive. I've yet to see a day when I didn't trust my car. Open your hood, check oil, coolant levels, make sure your return still looks nice, fill 'er up, and go. Don't do anything STUPID like full 4th and 5th gear pulls 1000miles from your house, but I mean rippin on the highway here and there isn't a big deal. I have faith in my d16z6 @ 10psi (hell I beat it to **** up here at school, 88mi from home) on a daily basis. Just make sure she has plenty of fuel, it's better rich than sorry!

Lastly, I don't know about everybody else, but I find myself going into boost on teh highway pretty often. My civic can't get up hills (big hills) in 5th gear w/o boosting. With the cruise control on (which I might add works great w/ afchack) my car will often boost 5-6lbs when trying to climb an almighty steep hill, but I have faith in her. I always give my car to my father and brother to let them drive it w/o warning them about things i'm paraniod of (like part throttle boost) so that they go out and drive it like a normal car. If it doesnt' blow up for them, then I have more faith just teh same
