boost leak question

Default boost leak question

if you have a boost leak will your boost gauge still read the correct psi?

no if you have a boost leak your boost guage will read whatever psi where you have your tee hooked up forthe source. If it is leaking and not getting full boost then ofcourse it would be lower, but it would still read correctly.

well what im saying is that my gauge is reading 7psi but it doesnt pull at all. it feels like its not even as fast as stock. maybe my turbo is blown. thanks for the reply

if its getting 7psi whats your tune like. is your car serviced and no other issues that you can think of.

well i have cel and it the tps,map,knock sensor and right know im running a fmu i also got hodata but wating for injectors to tune on a b17. it ran fine before i put the turbo in but know the vtec dont even work what can be wrong? thank again

If you have a cel then the engine will be going into limp mode.

check motor compression or what does you vaccum read at idle??

my vacuums at 20 and yeah, i can rev past 4000 but how do know if your in limp mode?

You can't rev past 3.5k (limp mode)

well guy, it seems like some liquid is coming from the head where the exhaust ports are in to the manifold what can that mean

what kinda of liquid is it coolant, moisture, oil what type of liquid.

if it is coolant or oil most likely the head gasket issues

i dont really know what is, its not oil kinda more like water. do you think my head gasket is blown and if it is will that make the car feel under power?

run a compression test as well as leak down just to verify it yes the car will run crappy with low compression in given cylider if the gasket is blown

also what color are you plugs are they burning normal you can tell alot by a plug
