boost guage problems

Default boost guage problems

when i start my car the boost guage goes down to 20vac, which is correct, but when i start driving and take it up to 4K RPMS..my boost guage went down to 30vac, then when i cut the car off it goes to 0..someone help...i just installed teh boost guage hour ago

with the pedal to the floor it should go to 0 vac.

at 4000rpm and you let off the gas completely it should go below 20 vac in most cars.

If you are in gear coming down from 4000 RPMs it will dip down below 20vac.

Sounds like normal operation.

My car will drop to 25Hg sometimes, 30Hg is a really strong vacuum- that's okay(when your off the throttle, right?)

when i cut the car off it goes to 0..someone help...
That is normal-car's off- No vacuum or boost = 0.

hold up..i think i explained it wrong...when im giving it gas its goes up to 10vac...
i wont go above 0vac when im reving to 4K or 5K ...its like im not making boost..i can hear the turbo spooling and everything...oh well im glad its not making anyboost until i get that dam inline fuel pump

Sounds like you have a leak. Check your intake/IC piping and vacuum lines.

Had that problem too

oh.

Tee it off your FPR. Or make an individual source(best way).
