Default Boost by Gear help/advice please

Ok I've wired up the boost by gear option on my car, plumbed everything correctly (doubled checked) I've done alot of reading and seen that everybody's car reacts diff to the solenoid and what u have to set them on to make them work. Straight off of WG the car is 15psi. But on the solenoid it's 13-14psi and if I swap it from normaly closed to normaly open it jumps to 18psi in 2nd gear and shuts off at 23 instantly (I set boost cut for that as a safety) seems like no matter what I do it does what it wants and it's beginning to be a real pain in the ***. I don't have alot of money to pay a tuner to dick around w/it for 2hrs and a chance they won't get it either. I've got my settings like this if anybody can point me in the right direction I would greatly appreciate it.

Fixed duty cycle...25%

Activation pressure...10psi (lower Than WG by just a Lil to keep the solenoid from being on constantly)

Frequency...30 (was at shaded 78 stock)

From my understanding u have to get the frequency right and then set ur fixed duty cycle to desired boost level before u can set up the boost by gear table. This is really aggravating and getting discouraging to say the least. Any help or advice will be greatly appreciated and thanks to those I've messaged that has replied back

Set it to how it was when it was running 13-14 psi. then try raising duty from 25 to 30 and see if that works mine doesnt add boost till bout 30% duty cycle. And that's like 1-2psi. Mayb u didn't have duty high enuff yet

Ok I'll try it and see how that works. Also, is urs set on normally closed or normally open? Mine is on normally closed , although I've tried it both ways. I blew into the solenoid and nothing came out so I set it back to normally closed.....

Start with fixed duty cycle and do pulls increasing the duty cycle each pull in incremeents until you can fill out the duty cycle reference table. The rest is easy.

Thats all I can offer. I had the same prob as u,, And couldnt find much info,, so I kept messing around n that's what worked to fix my issue,,, I honestly think u had it correct when u where hitting 13-14 psi. I just don't think u went high enuff with the duty cycle. So give that a try. N go from there,,,
