Icon2 Boost control

Hi to everyone,

I have an Aem boost solenoid wired in my Civic with an S300.
I am trying to use the boost by gear , but nothing seems to work.
So I was thinking ( if it is possible ) to make a switch on the 12v of the solenoid and on my 1st gear and 2nd gear I turn the solenoid off so I use the wastegate spring and then in 3rd gear I put back the 12v on the solenoid and I will have the boost that I ve set in the S300.

Can it be done or just a waste of time?

Thanks

Is your s300 set up with the hardware to run the boost by gear option?

i had the same issue and it was just where the wire was plugged to so i ran it directly under the dash to the fuse box.

Sorry I didn't explain good.

The S300 has the boost by gear option and it is wired and works
but I can't manage to make it work.
Sometimes I have the 1st and 2nd gear with the boost I set and then in 3rd gear the boost goes up more .
I'm fed up trying
That's why I came up with this idea maybe it 'll work

I want to set my boost to 15 psi 1st and 2nd gear and then up to 34 psi
My WG spring is 15psi so without 12v on the solenoid ,I should have 15psi
Thanks

I kept having problems with my s300 and boost by gear as well. Mine would always just try to boost too much all the time, no matter what i had the duty cycle set to. Hondata came out with a new version of their software that allows you to adjust the frequency for the boost solenoid as well. I think that changing the frequency helped alot of people out. I didn't mess with that though, i went ahead and bought a nlr boost controller and that solved all my problems.

Are you sure you have all of the settings right? Did you do the fixed gear pulls and set how much boost each duty cycle is? I ask beacause I have used it several times and use it in my race car and it works great.
To answer your question about a switch, you can use the low/high boost control option under boost control.

As a fixed duty , works fine.
When I try to use the boost by gear , I have these problems.

I ll give it a try with the switch as races are near and I ll try at the strip

Thanks
